About Our Interns
Our clinical interns are graduate students working toward master’s degrees in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related fields. As part of their training, they complete supervised practicum and internship hours, where they gain hands-on experience and build their skills as future therapists.
Mentorship in Action
Interns are not only here to learn—they’re an active part of our care team. They work alongside our licensed and associate-level clinicians, who provide ongoing mentorship and oversight. This layered approach means you receive thoughtful, high-quality care while also supporting the development of future mental health professionals.
Why Work With an Intern?
Affordable Care
We offer sessions with interns at a flat rate of $80. While interns can’t bill insurance, we provide sliding scale options when needed. For this reason, working with an intern can be a more accessible way to begin or continue therapy.
Fresh Perspective
Interns bring curiosity, energy, and the latest clinical training into each session. In addition, their work is grounded in current research and informed by evolving best practices.
Close Supervision
Each intern works under the guidance of a licensed clinical supervisor, who reviews their care plans, supports case discussions, and helps shape their clinical growth.
Individualized Support
Interns often carry smaller caseloads. This gives them extra time to collaborate with our senior team and tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.
Real Commitment
Our interns show up with care, intention, and a genuine desire to support your healing. Moreover, they are deeply invested in building strong, supportive relationships with the people they serve.
