Founder & CEO | Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Registered Play Therapist Supervisor
she/her/hers
As the Founder and CEO of Ohana Behavioral Health, Daisy has dedicated her career to creating a welcoming, culturally humble space for healing—and to building sustainable, values-driven mental health services. Since opening Ohana in 2018, she has led its growth from a single-provider practice into a thriving group practice serving clients across Washington, with play therapy for children at the heart of its work. She has developed and expanded specialized programs in perinatal and infant mental health, early childhood consultation, and parent coaching, ensuring services meet families where they are and support their long-term growth.
Daisy is a Washington State Approved Clinical Supervisor, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, and served as President of the Washington Association for Play Therapy from 2021 to 2022. She began her education and clinical journey in Hawaii, later opening her private practice in Texas in 2010. Over the years, she has built and led diverse teams, created innovative service offerings, and navigated the complexities of both private pay and insurance-based models. Today, she is actively working to form partnerships with pediatricians, doulas, schools, and community organizations to expand access to care.
As a woman, mother, person of color, and Indonesian immigrant, Daisy brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her leadership. She is passionate about mentoring other professionals, supporting women entrepreneurs, and helping individuals and organizations design services that are both impactful and sustainable. Whether in the therapy room or the consulting space, her mission is to help others create environments where people can feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
