Therapy for Children, Teens, Young Adults, and Families in Renton, WA
she/her
Professional Background
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Northwestern University, working toward licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
My work focuses on children, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, school stress, identity development, neurodivergence, family pressure, and life transitions.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.
In addition, I am an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Before graduate school, I spent several years supporting children and families with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills.
That experience helped me understand how stress, relationships, behavior, and emotional needs are often connected.
Specialization and Focus
Many clients come to therapy because they are used to holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside.
For younger children, I use play, creativity, and relationship-based support to help them express feelings, build coping skills, and feel more understood.
With teens and young adults, I offer a steady and affirming space to talk about anxiety, stress, identity, relationships, school or college pressure, family expectations, and the challenges of growing into who they are becoming.
Over time, therapy can help clients better understand their emotions, build self-trust, and feel less alone in what they are carrying.
Clients may be a good fit for my work if they are looking for support with anxiety, emotional regulation, school stress, college stress, family expectations, identity development, neurodivergence, masking, self-esteem, relationship stress, and life transitions.
I also enjoy working with neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults.
Some clients grow up masking, feeling misunderstood, or trying to fit into spaces that were not built with their needs in mind.
Together, we may focus on self-acceptance, emotional regulation, self-trust, and tools that feel realistic for everyday life.
Culture, identity, and family experiences can also shape how we experience stress and relationships.
For this reason, I support BIPOC children, teens, young adults, and families who want space to explore family dynamics, pressure, identity, and belonging.
You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin wherever you are.
Therapeutic Approach
My therapy style is warm, steady, and collaborative. Rather than rushing the process, I give clients space to open up when they are ready.
In therapy, we can slow things down and make space for what feels hard to name. We move at your pace while also working toward practical tools, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of confidence.
Our work together can help you make sense of your experiences, better understand your patterns, and build a stronger relationship with yourself.
When I’m not doing therapy…
I love spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and exploring creative pursuits. I recharge by surrounding myself with the people I care about and staying socially connected.
