As the Founder and CEO of Ohana Behavioral Health, Daisy emphasizes providing essential supervision and administrative support to dedicated clinicians. Her primary goal is to foster a culturally humble environment, benefiting clients and enhancing the professional experience for clinicians.

Daisy holds crucial roles as a Washington State Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor with licenses in both Washington and Hawaii. Her professional journey began in Hawaii, where her early work with children and families profoundly shaped her commitment to culturally informed care at Ohana. This commitment extends beyond direct care as Daisy actively promotes cultural humility within Ohana Behavioral Health.

Nationally certified as a counselor and an engaged member of the Association for Play Therapy (APT), Daisy remains unwavering in her dedication to empowering individuals through a client-centered approach and the transformative power of play therapy. She also served with distinction as the Past President of the Washington chapter of APT.

Daisy’s private practice journey started in Texas in 2010 and has been enriched by the multifaceted aspects of her identity as a woman, mother, person of color, and Indonesian immigrant. Fluent in Indonesian or Bahasa, Daisy seamlessly connects with a diverse range of individuals, contributing significantly to the inclusive vision of Ohana Behavioral Health. Moreover, her aspirational vision for the organization is to be a space that provides accessible support, with a specific emphasis on people of color and women, fostering positive mental health and overall well-being.

Through Ohana Behavioral Health, Daisy remains committed to serving the community and creating opportunities for self-exploration and growth. Her guidance aims to assist individuals on their journey to self-discovery and empowerment.
